CM Simple Spanish is a beautiful way to introduce young children to their second language! I love that it uses songs, poems and Gouin series for an authentic learning experience. The resources included are so well done. I especially loved that the author had her friends record Spanish songs for her program in order to have high-quality music! Charlotte Mason’s approach to foreign language instruction is definitely more effective than how I attempted to learn a second language as a child, and this program makes the approach easy to understand and implement.
Charlotte Mason Simple Spanish curriculum truly is "simple" to incorporate into daily lessons! Last year, I just couldn't get into a reasonable rhythm with Spanish lessons so I dropped what we were doing! Since we started CM Simple Spanish this year, a breath of fresh air has come into our Spanish lessons!! The QR codes make it so quick and easy to hear our very own, native Spanish speaking interpreter… anytime!! The music to the songs is also fun and catchy! Each unit provides a Bible verse, Spanish sentences, living book read alouds, poetry, music, a lot of vocabulary and nature-focused activities. And two wonderful bonuses for families… these Charlotte Mason style lessons are beautifully designed and very budget-friendly 😊 My son and I get excited about our Spanish lessons now! Charlotte Mason Simple Spanish is a great resource to families that want to learn Spanish following the Charlotte Mason method. Their curriculum incorporates beautiful illustrations, easy to follow instructions, nature based vocabulary, poems. Scriptures and great living books in Spanish. My daughters love to sign along the Spanish songs and they enjoy acting up the actions based on the Gouin series. I am Colombian and Spanish is my first language but my husband and my 2 girls don't speak Spanish. I have tried to use Spanish at home but we faced some difficulties as my children had stages where they hated the language so I chose not to make it a fight.
Now my girls are a bit older and keen to learn it but I didn't know where to start. I was so thankful when someone shared your website in a homeschool group online and I am loving it. Thank you so much for your hard work on creating such beautiful material and making it easier to start teaching Spanish to my children in a godly focus and with more confidence.

Thank you for putting all of this together and pricing it so affordably. I know a lot of Spanish and was just this year working on putting something together myself. I was so so thrilled when I found that somebody already did it all so much better than I could and priced it affordably. I’m really very happy with it all so far. We’re in our second week and my children are enjoying this better than anything we’ve done before. Learning vocabulary in the context of lovely stories, poems, scripture, nature study, and songs is so much more rewarding than the usual content used for language learning. This program is beautiful and delightful.

I just downloaded the year 1 bundle and, holy baloney, it is fantastic! I've been unsuccessfully trying to Charlotte Mason my way through teaching a foreign language for 4 years and have gone nowhere. Full confession, I have no intention of using it to teach Spanish..... but rather Mandarin. My goal is to take your frameworks and make them Chinese friendly for my kiddos. I have tried to do this with other curriculums out there, but everything is so-not-useful, not comprehensive, twaddly, and honestly fairly illogical. Thank you thank you for getting the framework together. I feel like I finally *see* how CM language is supposed to work.

This email is just to say thank you for all the sweat and tears you’re putting into this program. We started with the song which they loved and now we are working on the series. I know this is likely not in the intended order however it worked perfectly for us. Because they were already familiar with the song and game, it made working on the series even more enjoyable for them. As we did the motions along with the series statements they were recalling the game at the same time and laughing through the process while also giving their best effort. Watching and listening to them work this series with so much joy made me smile. The kids requested to learn a foreign language and I was intimidated but said we would ALL learn together. I took 2 yrs of Spanish in middle school with good grades, however it was very textbook and I retained very very very little. Once my grades were done, I was done as I had no where else to learn or use it. This program is taking out the intimidation and making it fun for all of us. I love the functional / natural approach this takes vs textbook way I was taught….CMSS makes it more achievable and fun. Thank you and you’re doing a fantastic job!!
