Recorded Spanish Courses

A Charlotte Mason–Inspired Path

Our recorded Spanish courses offer a gentle, thoughtfully sequenced pathway for learning Spanish, designed especially for Charlotte Mason homeschooling families.

These courses are ideal for families who value short lessons, living language, and steady progress, and who prefer the flexibility of recorded lessons without live interaction.

A Complete Pathway Through Spanish

Our recorded courses are designed to be taken in order, each level building naturally upon the last:

• Spanish 1
  A gentle introduction focused on listening and speaking through songs, picture books, poems, games, and conversation.

• Spanish 2
  A continuation of oral language development, with longer phrases, increased comprehension, and growing confidence in spoken Spanish.

• Spanish 3
  A thoughtful transition into reading in Spanish, using our own translation and adaptation of the McGuffey Primer, introduced gently and with strong comprehension support.

• Spanish 4
  An introduction to gentle grammar instruction, using our translation and adaptation of Otto Siepmann’s Primary French Course, historically used in Charlotte Mason schools from the fourth year of French through high school and adapted by our team for Spanish.

Each level maintains a living approach to language, without rushing or overwhelming the student.

How the Recorded Courses Work

• Short video lessons (10–15 minutes each)
• Two lessons per week
• Lessons are released gradually
• Families who enroll after a course has begun receive immediate access to all recordings posted so far
• Students may move through the lessons at their own pace

These courses are recording-only and do not include live interaction.

• Reading introduced only after a strong oral foundation
• Grammar introduced gently and purposefully
• Confidence before correctness

There are no worksheets, no busywork, and no rushed pacing.

Because these are recorded courses, families may:

• Schedule lessons around their homeschool rhythm
• Pause, replay, and review as needed
• Use the course with more than one child in the home

Optional homework assignments are available for junior high and high school students in upper levels and are sold separately.

Choosing the Right Level

We encourage families to read each course description carefully and choose the level that best fits their child’s experience, readiness, and comfort with Spanish, rather than age alone.
