Give your child the opportunity to understand, speak, and enjoy Spanish—naturally!
Learning Spanish should be more than memorizing vocabulary lists or completing worksheets.
At Simple Languages Online Academy, children learn Spanish through meaningful conversations, stories, songs, poems, and games—all inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education.
Our live online classes provide a welcoming, interactive environment where children can develop their Spanish comprehension and speaking skills with an experienced native Spanish-speaking teacher.
And the best part? You don't need to speak Spanish to give your child a wonderful foreign-language education!

Why Families Love Our Live Spanish Classes
A Natural Approach to Learning Spanish
Children don't learn their first language by memorizing grammar rules. They learn by listening, understanding, interacting, and gradually beginning to speak.
We apply these same principles to foreign-language learning.
Our teachers use comprehensible input, gestures, pictures, repetition, and meaningful interactions to help children understand Spanish naturally.
Students aren't simply watching a lesson. They're actively participating, responding to questions, practicing conversations, and developing confidence using the language.
Real Conversation With a Real Teacher
One of the greatest advantages of live classes is the opportunity to communicate with a native Spanish speaker.
Students practice listening, answering questions, describing pictures, and participating in simple conversations.
Our small classrooms allow teachers to get to know each child and provide individual attention.
Charlotte Mason–Inspired Lessons
Our curriculum brings language to life through:
-
Traditional Spanish children's songs and folk songs
-
Poetry and rhymes
-
Stories and storytelling
-
Interactive language games
-
Everyday conversational phrases
-
Listening and speaking activities
-
Gentle repetition and review
Rather than relying on worksheets and memorization, we focus on helping children develop a genuine understanding of the language.
Small Classes, Meaningful Participation
With just 3–5 students per classroom, every child has opportunities to participate.
Our teachers create a warm and encouraging environment where children can practice Spanish without the pressure of needing to speak perfectly.
We want students to feel comfortable trying, making mistakes, and gradually becoming more confident.
Designed With Homeschool Families in Mind
As a homeschooling family ourselves, we understand the importance of lessons that are effective without overwhelming your schedule.
Our classes are just 30 minutes, twice a week, making it easy to incorporate Spanish into your homeschool routine.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does my child need to know Spanish before enrolling?
Not at all!
Spanish 1 is designed for beginners. Our teachers use pictures, gestures, repetition, and other techniques to make the language understandable, even for children who have never studied Spanish.
2. Do I need to speak Spanish to help my child?
No! Our teachers lead the lessons, so parents do not need to know Spanish or teach the curriculum.
We do encourage families to practice songs and conversational phrases together whenever possible.
3. What happens if my child misses a class?
Classes are recorded, and replays remain available for two weeks after each lesson.
This allows students to catch up on missed lessons or review what they have learned.
4. Are books and materials included?
Yes!
Your enrollment includes the printable student books and supporting materials needed for the course.
There is no need to purchase additional curriculum.
5. Can siblings learn together?
Absolutely!
You have two options:
Option 1: One enrolled student
Your family is welcome to watch and learn together under one enrollment. However, only one child may participate directly with the teacher during each class. You may rotate which child participates from one class to another.
Option 2: Enroll multiple children
If you would like each child to participate with the teacher during the same class, each child needs their own enrollment.
We offer a 50% discount for each additional sibling, even if your children are enrolled in different levels.
The sibling discount is applied automatically at checkout.
6. Can I pay in installments?
Yes! We offer payment plan options at checkout.
You can select the payment option that works best for your family.
7. What equipment will we need?
Your child will need:
-
A computer or tablet with internet access
-
A working webcam
-
A microphone
-
A quiet place to participate in class
We recommend using a computer or tablet rather than a phone whenever possible.
